Dear TCB Members, Friends and Supporters,
It’s time to register for the 85th annual conference and convention of the Tennessee Council of the Blind. The dates are August 21st through 23rd. The VIPSG Chapter is working hard to provide an interesting and informative program for us. To access this letter via Alexa ask her to play podcast tcb 85th convention letter.
We will be at the Crowne Plaza, 401 West Summit Hill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37902. Room rate for TCB Members has been reduced to $170.00 per night, at the time of check-in, discounts will be applied. The first is provided by Tennessee Council of the Blind. After this discount is applied the member cost will be $145.00 per night plus tax. You can reserve your room by calling Mon – Fri, 830a – 430p, at 865-522-2600. Please register before July 20 to assure you get the proper room rate. The online registration link will be included in the email version of this letter and on the Tennessee website at https://tn-acb.org/convention.
Convention registration is $80 per person and includes the banquet.
Registration for the TCB convention is available online at https://tn-acb.org/convention. You can pay online using your credit or debit card. If you need any assistance in registering, you may contact Robert Spangler at (319) 550 – 1748. Plans are also being made to stream the annual auction once again this year so everyone can take part in the fun. Our auction will be on Saturday evening August 22nd. Be sure to register before August 1st if you plan to attend the banquet, meals after August 1st are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.
